Detroit artists Babyface Ray and Peezy have a few things in common.
They’re both products of Detroit’s 6 Mile, founding members of Team Eastside and consistently releasing quality music independently.
Oh, and they both shine on Ghetto Wave, a joint album they dropped this past Christmas.
There’s 20 tracks on Ghetto Wave (not including the Belly excerpt intro) and, no B.S., I’m diggin’ more than half of ’em. Is it because I’m a fan of street-oriented vibes, dope production and the Detroit music scene? Maybe. Maybe not.
Regardless, Ghetto Wave is dope, and I thought I’d share it with the AH$ fam.
Check out some of my favorite cuts off the project below. Share the post and support the album if you’re feeling it.
While you’re at it, keep up with the movement on Twitter & Instagram.
