Washington Nationals Make History in Houston

On Wednesday night, the Washington Nationals won their first-ever World Series, beating the Houston Astros 6-2 in Game 7. Worth noting, the Nats won all four of their games in Houston and not on their home turf.

The Nats have been around for more than five decades (including their time as the Montreal Expos), but this is the first time in franchise history they’ve made a World Series appearance. Fortunately for them, they came out victorious.
