Southern hip-hop legends Outkast have announced their return to the world of music.
According to the duo’s Facebook page, they‘re embarking on a tour that includes more than 40 cities in celebration of the 20-year anniversary of their platinum-selling debut album, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik.
“Outkast will return to the stage with a full festival run of over 40 dates to celebrate 20 years since Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik,” the Facebook post stated.
Outkast is one of the most successful groups to ever hold a microphone. Selling millions of records over the years, the group has managed to enjoy mainstream appeal without compromising their musical creativity. It’s good to hear that they’re reconnecting. Hopefully, some new music will come from the duo this year as well.
