Isaiah Rashad, one of the latest additions to burgeoning hip-hop label TDE, pays homage to the slain brother of Southern rap legends Master P, Silkk the Shocker and C-Murder on his latest track.

The
song, “RIP Kevin Miller,” finds the Chattanooga representative reflecting on Southern rap’s golden age, past trials and tribulations he’s experienced, and where he aspires to take his career. And on the chorus, Rashad recycles lines from Master P’s song “Weed and Money”.

Rashad
has publicly expressed how Master P influenced him significantly coming up. And this track serves as another indicator of how impactful P actually was to him.

The song’s namesake, Kevin Miller, was shot and killed in a robbery in 1995. He’s been mentioned in several songs by P., Silkk and C-Murder over the years.

Stream the track below. It’s dope.
