While out in New York promoting his new movie Brick Mansions, which also stars the late Paul Walker, RZA chopped it up with two of the city’s hottest urban radio stations: Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club and Hot 97’s Morning Show.
During both interviews, he discloses the plot behind the movie and what his character portrays. In the interview with Hot 97, he goes more in-depth about how his character resonates with people he grew up around and his relationship with Paul Walker, who died in a car crash in November 2013.
In both interviews, he also touches on upcoming Wu-Tang Clan projects, issues with Raekwon, and how he’s more involved with film and literature than music, but is still able to charge substantial prices for verses and production.
I think both interviews are pretty insightful and entertaining. Check them out below.
