Joey Bada$$ and Kirk Knight Talk “Devastated,” Pro Era, and Musical Growth 

Pro Era representatives Joey Bada$$ and Kirk Knight recently came to Atlanta to perform at Raury’s 3rd Annual RAURFEST. 

While in ATL, the NYC natives stopped by Hot 107.9 to wrap with B. High. 

During the conversation, Joey Bada$$ talked about creating his banger “Devastated,” and the bond he shares with Kirk Knight. 

Joey also talked about his close friendship with revered producer DJ Premier; his struggles as an independent artist; the 2nd Annual Steez Day Festival; and his native city not fully embracing his music until he achieved widespread acclaim.

Kirk Knight touched on his growth as a producer, Pro Era’s success over the years, and revealed he has a new instrumental project in the works.

Before things ended, Joey opened up about his love for acting, and his determination to inspire and motivate young black males with his music.
