The line is far from fiction.
After spending more than a month behind bars, Troy was released on $500,000 bail last month. The Brooklyn spitter’s incarceration was the result of his involvement in a shooting at New York City venue Irving Plaza. Four people were wounded during the chaotic occurrence, including Troy and his BSB comrade/bodyguard Ronald “Banga” McPhatter. McPhatter succumbed to his injury.
Following the shooting, surveillance footage surfaced of Troy firing a pistol inside Irving Plaza. He was later charged with attempted murder and multiple counts of criminal possession of a firearm.
Back in the free world, Troy has apparently been spending a lot of time in the studio. He’s scheduled to drop his latest album Roland Collins on Friday.
