Almost a year after releasing his Best After Bobby Two mixtape, Dom Kennedy returns with a new vibe titled “U Got It Like That.” The track features Dom’s OPM comrade Niko G4, and is laced by Mike Free.
The track is serene, and displays Dom rhyming in a laid-back fashion, so laid-back that it sounds like he was chillin’ in a recliner when it was recorded. Nonetheless, I enjoyed his verse.
I have been a fan of Dom’s since my introduction to him via Curren$y’s “Racing Stripes,” so it’s always good to hear some new music from the West Coast homie.
Dom’s latest cut will reportedly appear on his forthcoming project Los Angeles Is Not For Sale Vol. 1.
