Chief Keef Talks Fatherhood, Fredo Santana, Movies & Face Tats

Someone who played an integral part in (and managed to outlast) the drill music craze that dominated rap several years ago, Chief Keef continues to reinvent himself musically and maintain relevance.

In the process of unleashing his album Almighty So 2 on the world, the latest addition to his extensive catalog of projects, Keef sat down with Kerwin Frost for probably the longest interview conversation he’s had publicly to date.

Nothing near the traditional interview, Keef talks with Kerwin about everything: fatherhood, movies, the close relationship he shared with his older cousin/late artist Fredo Santana and coping with death through music, art and video games.

Other topics touched on during the hour-plus visual include Keef’s desire to act and invest, who he wants to collaborate with next, DJ Akademiks building his following off Chicago’s drill scene and not tattooing his face out of respect for his grandmother.
