Payroll Giovanni Refuses to Stop Grinding

Slow down? Payroll Giovanni doesn’t seem to know the meaning of that.

Since the year started, he’s released two solo albums and a joint project with Omaha, Nebraska’s Hoggy D — a testament to his dedication, work ethic and all-around hustle.

Though he’s become one of the most successful/respected lyricists to come outta Detroit in recent years, Payroll has yet to show signs of forgetting where he’s come from or sway away from the content that’s birthed his prosperity.

From collab projects with super producers like Cardo — someone who was introduced to the world via Wiz Khalifa’s classic Kush & Orange Juice —  and Helluva (largely known for his work with Tee Grizzley) to putting out artists on his own BYLUG imprint, Fenkell’s very own has come a long way. And there’s no telling what he has up his designer sleeve for the future.

Stream Payroll’s new project No Validation Necessary and peep the visual to his vibe “Chain On My Dresser 3” below.
