When it comes to West Coast artists I enjoy listening to right now, Jay 305 most definitely holds a spot on the list.
A protégé of Dom Kennedy and artist on OPM, Jay has been making his presence felt in the game for a minute. In 2014, he signed a deal with Interscope Records and later dropped his debut album, Taking All Bets (2017). Since then, he’s expanded his following and been featured on albums from The Game, YG, E-40 and many more.
This August, Dom’s OPM collective dropped Young Nation, Vol. 2; Jay 305 had some of the hardest music on the project. Peep the visual to his heartfelt “Real Time” off the album below.
