In an interview with VladTV, Bay Area rap legend Messy Marv recently opened up for the first time about being robbed and beaten unconscious in Reno, Nevada.
The happening took place August 31st while Messy Marv was in Reno to perform at a nightclub. Lil’ Hyfe, an up-and-coming rapper from Berkeley, California, came along with Mess for the performance (Hyfe has released a video of his thoughts on the altercation).
Messy Marv was allegedly beaten by several individuals and robbed at gun point for his jewelry. The perpetrators recorded the occurrence and posted it online.

I think we can all agree that there is no longer a safe place, not even your home. Everywhere you go, there could be an accident that we could not avoid. I just think that it is best for all of us to know the basics of self defense. It is a dangerous world out there and trouble is just around the corner. What we can do for ourselves is to know what to do in case of an unfortunate event.
