Lloyd Banks – Failure’s No Option
It’s been a minute since G-Unit member Lloyd Banks dropped some new music for his fans. But it appears that the wait was well worth it. Banks comes back strong with his new project, Failure’s No Option. Some highlights on the mixtape include “Pain In Variety,” “Paint The Sky,” featuring Harlem spitter Vado, “Lead The Blind,” and “My Flight.”
Roc Marciano – The Pimpire Strikes Back
Hempstead, Long Island smooth spitter Roc Marciano has dropped his latest body of work: The Pimpire Strikes Back. The 16-song project is a pretty solid effort from Roc, and will unquestionably be embraced by anyone who digs that East Coast, 90s street hip-hop sound. Some of the mixtape’s heaters include “Doesn’t Last,” “Sincerely Antique,” featuring Willie the Kid and Action Bronson, “German V’s,” and “Ruff Town,” featuring Cormega.
Dusty Mcfly – B&B 2
Detroit rhymespitter Dusty McFly recently delivered fans his mixtape B&B 2 (Buffies and Benihanas 2). Known for his fly, street hustler content, Fleez sticks to what he knows best on the mixtape. But there is somewhat of a sense of growth and maturity displayed in his new music, as well as a refreshing variety of production. Some dope songs on B&B 2 include “Intro,” “Get It Up,” “Wow,” featuring Royce Da 5’9 and Boldy James, “Number One,” and “Hollywood.”
Curren$y and Smoke Dza – The Stage
If nothing more, The Stage is four dope Harry Fraud tracks that Jet Life Recordings head honcho Curren$y and roster artist Smoke Dza use to drop lyrical masterpieces on. The two share a cool chemistry, and the mixtape is something great to vibe to. All four tracks are pretty ill.
