North Memphis street poet Yo Gotti has been making noise on the underground rap scene for years. And that success catapulted over into mainstream appeal the last few calendars.
Currently on Epic Records, Gotti has dropped his sixth album, I Am, a 13-track project that he deems some of his best work to date.
Gotti sat down with The Breakfast Club to talk about the album and why he considers it some of his best work. He also opened up about his problems with Gucci Mane, what caused him to tell Juicy J to stop “dodging” him, his past label woes, and how he feels about his new deal with Epic Records.
