A decline in the mammal’s population within sub-Saharan Africa have earned them the label of being endangered, and many people presume that the species could face extinction before the next decade.
Kevin Richardson, a South African animal behaviorist, is among the people who hope the lion’s existence never fades; he’s popular for his unique ability to get up-close-and-personal with the large mammal.
Using a GoPro camera, Richardson recently captured incredible footage of him and the one-of-a-kind relationship he shares with two lions, which he rescued as abandoned cubs. The video also displays him cuddling with Hyenas, a known enemy of the lion species. Check out the video below.
