In a recent interview with Vlad TV, highly revered (and disgustingly imitated) producer Zaytoven confirmed that a collaborative EP between Drake and Gucci Mane is in the works.
According to Zay, the two spitters discussed recording the project during the video shoot for “Guwop’s Home.” From there, Zay and Mike WILL Made-It began cooking up tracks for the rappers to annihilate.
Zay said the EP would be titled “The 6’ers,” which is inspired by Gucci’s representation of Atlanta’s Zone 6 section and Drake’s nickname for Toronto (‘the six’). Zay also said Gucci has already recorded his verses to a couple records for the project, and implied that Drake is following suit.
Aside from Gucci and Drake’s project, Zaytoven touched on the upcoming sequel to his film Birds of a Feather, the joy he gets from working with different artists, and also shared advice for up-and-coming producers.
