Rising Southern artist Scotty ATL shared a crazy tour story involving him, an airport and a firearm while chopping it up with 247HH.com.
The ATLien reflected on a time he inadvertently left a gun in his backpack and brought it to the airport. Unaware of the firearm, he sent the backpack through the X-ray machine and attempted to walk through the metal detector.
He didn’t get far.
After the scanner detected a gun in Scotty’s backpack, he was escorted to a private room by TSA personnel and questioned.
But in the end, the East Atlanta representative managed to get off scot-free.
Scotty reflected on the unpleasant experience in a light-hearted manner, but admitted the mishap could have adversely impacted his career if the firearm wasn’t legit.
