To go from being adopted by the streets to a Platinum artist, philanthropist and prosperous businessman is nothing short of incredible. And that’s exactly what Jeezy has done.
I have a tremendous amount of respect for Jeezy’s hustle, his heart and his resiliency. It’s no doubt he’s blessed; everyone’s not able to beat the odds.
One thing I find dope about Jeezy is his love for healthy living, a topic he touched on during a recent interview with GQ.
“To get to where you want to get to in life, you have to be present, and health is a big part of that,” Jeezy said in the interview. “You have to be careful with what you put into your body, and how you use it and take care of it.”
The convo preceded Jeezy’s participation in his first 10k, the AJC Peachtree Road Race. The Snowman revealed his exercise regimen preparing for the 6.2-mile race, which drew more than 60,000 runners from around the world, and also expressed his appreciation for running.
“[It’s] a stress reliever,” said Jeezy. “On the track, the road, or the treadmill, it’s almost a sense of freedom, especially for someone who is always on the go and among other people.”
Other topics Jeezy touched on included his 60-pound transformation, current diet and community impact.
