A Humble Soul took a trip out to Houston to chop it up with Daniel Payne (formerly known as KD) about everything from music to heartbreak.
In part 1 of the convo, Daniel Payne explains the motivation behind changing his rap moniker, and touches on his love for Birmingham, Alabama, despite receiving a lack of hometown support. He also names a few other Birmingham rappers, past and present, who put on for the city, and reflects on being the first artist from his area to promote music on the Internet.
