On September 14th, 1999, Project Pat released his album Ghetty Green. A youngster at the time, I had to buy the edited version at Walmart, because I wasn’t old enough to get the explicit one. But I still jammed the “clean” tracks to the fullest (of course, I managed to get my hands on the “dirty” version eventually).
One of my favorite cuts off the project is “Out There.” Over one of those dope DJ Paul and Juicy J-produced tracks, Pat dropped three ill verses from the perspective of a have-not residing in North Memphis trying to make ends meet. Check it out below.
