Don Trip is slated to release his upcoming album, The Head That Wears the Crown, in early July. The musical effort will succeed his 2015 under-appreciated effort Godspeed, which displayed the artist’s ability to not only spew witty verses but create great songs.
Trip recently premiered “All I Wanted,” a track off The Head That Wears the Crown. The song features fellow Tennessee representatives Young Dolph and Starlito. On the song, Trip and Lito handle the verses while Dolph provides a braggadocios chorus. The beat is pretty dope by the way.

To hold fans over until he releases his new album on July 8th, Trip will be dropping In the Meantime 2 this Friday. The project will be the sequel to last year’s In the Meantime EP, which he dropped weeks before Godspeed.
